In the wake of the recent hurricane that struck western Jamaica, the Hedonism II Foundation stands united with our community as we begin the long road to recovery. The parishes of Westmoreland and St. Elizabeth were among the hardest hit, with many homes and essential services severely damaged. While we’ve been able to contact most of our team members, we’re still working to reach others and assess the full extent of the impact.
From the smiling faces who pour your drinks and greet you at check-in, to our spa therapists, entertainers, security, administrative staff, and dedicated housekeeping teams, each person plays a part in creating the unforgettable experiences that make Hedonism II your home away from home. Many of these incredible individuals, and others across our community, are now facing immense loss and uncertainty.
The Hedonism II Foundation exists for moments like this, to provide immediate aid, hope, and a path forward. Donations are helping supply food, hygiene products, tools, bedding, needed items like generators and more, ensuring that our staff and neighbors have what they need to rebuild and regain a sense of stability. The resilience of the Jamaican spirit remains unshaken, but full recovery will take time and collective effort.
“Our team is the heart of Hedonism II, and seeing the devastation in our community has been heartbreaking,” said David Graham, General Manager of Hedonism II Resort. “But we are inspired by the strength, unity, and compassion shown by our staff, guests, and partners. Together, we’ll rebuild stronger than before.”
We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming support, care, and kindness we’ve received from our extended Hedonism family around the world. Every donation, every gesture of help, brings us one step closer to recovery and reminds us why the spirit of Hedo – and Jamaica, is truly unbreakable.
